SwingTowns
Swing Towns is a community that loves everyone and everything dealing with people. There's not a kink or a fetish that SwingTowns isn't accepting of. That's nice, isn't it? In the times we're in now, everyone's looking to be more accepting. So... more porn everywhere, right? SwingTowns plays host to several different communities on their website.
You'll be able to find open-minded people, swingers, kinks (BDSM/Fetishes), and polyamory enjoyers. With all of this going on, hopefully things are a bit contained and produced in a great way.
Design - Full of Information
It's not often you see a website with so much JUICE... I mean, information while keeping things clean. SwingTowns' website is thicc and I'm loving it, honestly. Their design is so simple yet doesn't too much like a dated website.
SwingTowns greets you with a photo of some women smiling and happy. Thinking to themselves, "we're happy to be on SwingTowns!" At least, I hope that's what they're smiling about. Or maybe they found themselves a date through the site. They then give you your first look at signing up. SwingTowns offers a "free" profile, which they never let you forget.
They then talk about, briefly, the types of relationships and lifestyles they look to support. A bit further down, they go into some details about the relationships/lifestyles they support. It's a well thought out way of talking about these relationships and lifestyles. They even include BDSM/fetish lovers. You're telling me SwingTowns gets down with ropes & ties? Spanking and biting?
Their mobile site could use with some work, though. It's basically a copy of the desktop version but not very well. Everything is cluttered. And since SwingTowns offers so much information, you're scrolling across text for days.
Content - Very Helpful
In terms of content, a site like this hides a lot of the juicy stuff behind those tight jeans. They want you to try and peel those jeans down off its ass and just dive right in. But, with that, there needs to be enough provided outside of everything that matters to the members. SwingTowns, luckily, offers just enough to get your brain running and pants soaked/bulging.
SwingTowns offers some very good information about each of their communities. They are playing hosts to four different communities: Open-Minded, Swingers, Kinks, and Poly (Polyamory). Just looking at these, you can tell how different and unique they are. Even more so, how unique and diverse the people are.
Kinks refers to anyone interested in BDSM, fetishes, and that dom/sub life. Swingers, however, is very absorbed in what it is and what it offers for those people. Anyone new to swinging or interested in trying it, would need to know what goes on in that lifestyle. SwingTowns breaks it down while even talking about getting into threesomes and "wife swaps."
Polyamory is probably the more unique and "not as common" lifestyle you'll probably see. SwingTowns, luckily, treats it with care and understanding. What they end up doing is breaking things down like you're undressing a woman in the bedroom. Sensual and with a ton of attention.
They not only talk about it on the website but they also offer a PDF titled "Guide to Non-Monogamy." Since polyamory deals with a person having a relationship with more the one person, there are misunderstandings that come with it. SwingTowns goes into some amazing detail through seven myths that come with polyamory.
SwingTowns, while not everything is shown for non-members, offer you a good look into the site. You can browse some swingers on the website. You can break your search down by state and then by the city or town. You can't really interact with the profiles you see. The images are blurred and clicking a button sends you to create a profile or to log in.
SwingTowns also offers a blog, showcases groups, and offers information about clubs and parties.
Communities & Information (The Positives)
There's a recurring theme with SwingTowns. It's their ability to offer information for their growing community. They're ones to tease and provide. SwingTowns says they are the world's "largest non-monogamy community." It's this title that allows them to stand out a bit more than other. At least, it's something they've done so that they can stand out.
If SwingTowns didn't decide to do this, go with the non-monogamy crowd, they'd be like any other kinky dating site. But being so unique and different brings in a totally different crowd. Not everyone's going to be different, obviously. SwingTowns caters to BDSM folk, open-minded, and swingers.
SwingTowns provides two communities for people who know who they are and what they want. Both their Kink community and their Swinging community acknowledge that. Their open-minded community is where things are a bit more flexible. They can spread those legs wide open or bend over just the same.
People, as a I guess, interested in their "open-minded" community are looking to experiment. Kissing this, kissing that. Fucking them in any setting. What remains true, however, in their "Open" community is the theme of non-monogamy. SwingTowns is a dating site that's all about having more than one partner. They want to make sure you know this.
Their blog is well made, too. It's a bit had to decide whether or not they're active in posting. The articles don't have any fucking dates for some damn reason. Regardless, SwingTowns' blog serves to educate people. You can learn about orgasms and different styles of relationships. It's very well designed, too. Offering small peeks at the articles and allowing you to click to read the full conversation.
SwingTowns also provides their members with information on parties and clubs. Their "clubs" page allows you to sift through countries and other locations. It's a pretty decent breakdown and makes it easy for you to find where you are, or plan to go, and hop into a club. Their "parties" page simply offers information without the really nice breakdown.
Cut Back a Bit (The Negatives)
The information that SwingTowns provides for people interested is very good. I haven't seen such information provided and, on top of that, in a good way. The only problem I see is having too much of it on the main page. SwingTowns would gain the same benefit if this was moved elsewhere with something small directing people toward that page.
They're basically taking off the bra and letting those juicy milkers breathe, you know? With that, begin to show off more of who they are. SwingTowns isn't doing that in terms of what else they offer. Their main page is all about making people know what they stand for. They provide such great information about it. But they tuck everything else behind links at the top of the main page.
Just Some Movement (My Suggestions)
This is just like any sex position. Sure, you can take it but you can also dish some out. Throw it back or slide it in deeper. SwingTowns can benefit from some movement with their information. This will not only benefit their desktop site but how it translates to mobile, too. The bulk of the information of their website comes from their non-monogamy myths. They go through seven of them.
While this is good and all, it takes up a lot of the site. The main, juicy bits of the site are the top with the sign up and the communities. What SwingTowns can benefit from is moving those myths to their own page. With that, they can link to articles where they expand on it some more or provide information on other things.
Sitting on the main page doesn't do much. I can understand why they'd do this though, to ensure people see it. If you're not interested in the site, you probably won't go past the main page. But if you see this and their care about it, you might stick around and make a profile.
If keeping this for the main site on desktop is their thing, go for it. But it has to go on mobile. It makes the main page of SwingTowns so cluttered and jam-packed with text. It feels like you can move around or see everything. You're already dealing with text from the community explanations. Now, you're scrolling across a novel worth of myths. On mobile, at the very least, these should be moved to a new area.
In Conclusion
SwingTowns does a fantastic job in making themselves different. They're offering a home to people that may be struggling to find a safe place. Not everyone is okay with non-monogamy or even BDSM. With SwingTowns, they know they have their back and the people here are just like them.
