A site like the PH forum is difficult to find working in the long term in a big way. And, no, I don't mean the "pH forum." We're not talking about your fucking pH balance (although, it is important for the ladies). The "PH" stands for "pantyhose." It's a fetish forum that's all about loving girls in some skin tight pantyhose. They also include other forms of tights like nylons, spandex, and leggings. But I find them struggling just a little bit.

Despite the struggle, PH Forum is continuing to press forward with their premium membership and still... remotely active user base?

Design - Don't Talk to Me

I could mash a bunch of keys on my keyboard, post the review, and that would still look better than PH Forum. I kid you not. PH Forum is terribly, repeat after me: terribly, designed. I feel like this forum was designed right after the first dinosaur macintosh was created and they just never thought to redesign it. Go back to the drawing board, and get someone who actually understands what it takes to build and create a functioning, well-designed forum.

On desktop, PH Forum looks like such a fucking shame. I wouldn't want to be associated with a site if it looked like this. There's no effort here. The only upside to this forum is that everything is labeled correctly and organized. Once I made my way into some threads, the way the profiles look on the side is okay at best. There is nothing about this site that is exciting or something that's been taken in a new direction.

Do not... Do not get me fucking started on this site for mobile. If you were to write everything out on Notepad, screenshot it, and put that image on your phone, that's PH forum. There is no effort there whatsoever to create a pleasant, welcoming mobile experience. People are on the go and want to do some forum surfing and posting. Why do you have to make it look like ass? And it's not even the good kind of ass, either!

But, I continued on and tried to see how the threads looked, just being curious. They're terrible. Once you're into some threads, everything becomes further away and tiny. You'd probably need to zoom in a little just to make sure you can tap on the right image link someone posted.

Content - Tights on Tights

PH Forum offers an interesting selection of tights-focused porn... Yeah. The problem is that things are so niche, right? They're targeting such a specific porn fetish and just fetish overall. With that, you'd need to ideally understand what goes on with that fetish. People want girls in tights to see their cameltoe and fat ass nearly bursting out of them.

PH forum offers its users a way to collect and share images and videos that are all about pantyhose, spandex, and whatever else. These images and videos are posted via links most of the time. I've seen users using some image hosting websites to upload and then they link the image in their thread.

There's then a section that's all about bondage and pantyhose together. Which, look, if that's your thing, that's your thing. I then came across a section for models and people posting images dealing with leggings, spandex, tights, and more.

The general theme of the main page, for anyone just coming in and looking around, is "free." I put free in quotations because that's all I can see. And all you'd see, too. PH Forum does offer a premium benefit tier where you can pay them to upgrade your account. This will unlock the hidden sections that most people can't see. There are some areas on the PH forum that are locked but that's just because they'd like you to create an account first before continuing.

Creating an account is free but to upgrade, you gotta show them some money.

Such a Niche Fetish (The Positives)

Being a forum that is geared more toward this unique fetish is a good thing. PH Forum has found its user base that it wants to serve and they're doing that and have been doing that since dinosaurs were around (terrible design). So, the first positive would be that. There are people out there who have this fetish and are wondering if there are more like them. They just want to find a place that feels comfortable for them. Looks like PH Forum did that to a certain degree.

I've enjoyed their variety when it comes to pantyhose porn. I didn't know there was this much that went into a fetish for tights. They've certainly surprised me with a lot of it.

I'm struggling to say more good things about the PH forum right now. Sure, they've done something unique for those with this fetish and new lovers of it. But that's not enough.

Lackluster (The Negatives)

PH Forum feels like dead weight. It feels like a site that used to be something (maybe) and now it's not. One of the first red flags for me was the interactions of everyone on the site. Some threads have gone weeks without anyone posting anything in them. Others have gone days. Forums, popular ones, are constantly buzzing. There's always something new being talked about and always someone coming along and continuing the conversation. I don't see that here with them.

The next big negative for me is how little they allow you to see them. They realize this is a forum, right? Forums are open to everyone just to pop in and see what's going on. Why do they require people to log in just to see the free stuff? And that leads me to my next issue: why talk about "premium" but show nothing?

It's fine to try and get some revenue going. I get it. People get a choice: stay free or spend a little for some extra shit. But the PH Forum has shown me nothing. I can barely see any of the free stuff and I don't know what "hidden sections" they're offering. They don't mention anything. How can you expect me to open my wallet if you're not telling me or showing me what I'm missing out on?

Try More (My Suggestions)

My only suggestion covers everything for the PH Forum and that would be to try more. Try and at least be something decent for your users. I'd be embarrassed to be a user here with how terribly designed this site is. How terrible the interactions seem to be going and how you don't even open your doors for truly free people.

If the items are free, let people see them. Give them a peek. Keep your premium benefits hidden but talk about them. You have your hand out for an item tucked behind your back. I don't want to pay for that shit, I don't know what the fuck it even is. There are issues with PH Forum from top to bottom and they need to be addressed - quickly.

In Conclusion

While PH Forum is a niche forum, they are bringing out a fetish that people probably don't know about. They have created a space where people who do enjoy it can come and share their love of pantyhose and other tights. But I cannot sit here and sing their high praises because PH Forum does not do enough to deserve it.
