Gromets Plaza

Every so often I review a porn site that is so ridiculously specific in the overall theme and genre that it targets that I’m dumbfounded. GrometsPlaza is so painfully specific that I can’t even believe it exists. It’s a site for literary erotica, which isn’t implied much in the name. You wouldn’t be able to tell unless you actually visit the site. Speaking of the name, I think it’s named after some dude that originally created the site. There was a post on here by the current owner talking about how he took over the site. I don’t know if he bought it or if something happened to the previous owner. I’m sure someone at the actual site can explain it to you. I personally don’t care. The whole point of GrometsPlaza is that it’s a literary site for everyone and anyone to post stories to, but here’s the kicker – they only want stories that have to do with self-bondage and a few similar fetishes.

I’ve seen BDSM sites before and I’ve certainly seen literary erotica, but this extremely specific dedication is a first for me. I didn’t know that self-bondage was such a popular kink that it warrants an entire fucking website. Keep in mind, it’s not a self-bondage site, it’s a self-bondage literary site for fan productions. This place only exclusively hosts stories written by the users and all of them have to relate back to one of the following fetishes: Self-bondage, as I mentioned, mummification, for some fucking reason, latex, packaged, bondage, dolls, maids, vore and a few others like pony and transgender. This is officially the weird side of the internet.

Makes Perfect Sense

I’m not too surprised about the popularity of the format, especially since I saw that furries are welcome. Hell, they even go out of their way to say “pony girls” as if it’s some sort of unique biological concept. In my professional observation I’ve found that pony lovers and fan fiction go together like women’s faces and cum. I swear, I don’t know what their deal is, but furries are obsessed with writing long winded sexual stories about their fucking fantasies. They get really explicit too. I’ve read way too many detailed descriptions of horse vaginas. Sometimes I hate my job. It’s rare, but when I have to read about tiny pony cocks, well, it’s enough to ruin anyone’s day.

Let’s get off the furry shit, though. It’s more of a side-thought. The self-bondage, mummification and packaged shit is the main focus here. Packaged, by the way, refers to the actual packaging of humans, as if they were objects to be shipped by FedEx. That’s what they had in mind. They’re not talking about actual packages or package as in large penis. They mean they want to be stuffed in a box. These people are all kinds of weird. They’re not gross. They’re just … strange. Anyways, these genres are also a natural fit for the literary erotica, since they are kind of unrealistic and hard to envision outside of written fantasy. Worthwhile Read

If you’re into any of these fetishes, you might be thinking to yourself: Why would I read someone else’s imagination when I could just stroke my own? Well, because the average person is a shitty ass writer, that’s why. I’m a writer, sort of. I know I make this shit look easy. Trust me, it’s not. If you tried writing your own fiction, you’d come to know the pain really quickly. The stuff that’s hosted on GrometsPlaza was written by very talented writers, even if they’re not professional names or whatever. The stuff is vetted by the actual owner of the site. There’s no option for direct self-submission. You have to e-mail the owner of the site and hope that your shit gets posted. This is a fantastic system.

Sure, it complicates the process a bunch, but the end result is that you get an entire website’s worth of quality content that has been personally approved by a person in charge of this specific type of writing. I don’t know if the dude’s an expert or not, but he’s sure done a great job so far. In my opinion, most of this content is well worth fapping to, provided you’re into the appropriate genres of course. I personally believe that this content is top notch and the writers really knew what they were doing when they wrote it. They were also very obviously horny as all hell, because these stories don’t shy away from extreme situations at all. They get really perverse.

Not That Fucked Up

There is a moral and ethical limit on this site. You can’t write about whatever you want. In fact, there’s a long list of shit that has to be avoided at all costs or your work will never be published on GrometsPlaza. These involve very acceptable bans such as having characters who are minors in your story to rules that flat out don’t make sense to me. First of all, there’s a full-on ban against bestiality. Right off the bat, I’m confused as fuck. They straight up suggest that you write about pony girls, because the furries on this site get extremely excited by that kind of smut, but they forbid bestiality. This is stupid as fuck. You’re also free to write about vore, as in, people being swallowed whole by monsters, but you can’t write about any necrophilia or even serious injuries. I don’t understand this at all.

Don’t get me wrong, I think that people who want to fuck animals are fucked in the head and should probably go get an MRI, but writing about that shit isn’t immoral. Hell, nothing is immoral in fiction unless you somehow manage to shoehorn in instructions about how to build an IED. Other than that, what could possibly go wrong if people wrote about whatever fucking fictional perversion they wanted to? I’m not here to lobby for the change of any laws, though. I’m just confused about the rules on GrometsPlaza. They’re too strict in my opinion.

Oh, before I forget, they also ban racism, homophobia and transphobia. These rules I am ok with. Fuck bigotry.

It’s Free Game

In an astonishingly surprising move, the owners of GrometsPlaza have made the decision that their site is free and will remain free for the foreseeable future. Hell, it’ll probably be free forever. You can read as many stories as your heart desires and even download them to your computer, because …they’re text. Of course, you can download them to your computer. What did you think, that they were copy protected? Just don’t go sharing these around, please. GrometsPlaza does an amazing job at encouraging people to write original smut. The last thing they need is you poaching their writing for shits and giggles. Be a reasonable adult, thank you and good day. Also, if you’re not an adult, stop reading this and turn the computer off. You’re also free to use all of this content as inspiration and source material for learning how to actually write like a decent author. These writers go hard. You can learn a lot from them. I don’t know if the dude behind GrometsPlaza edits or even proofreads their shit, but as it currently stands, this is all primo shit. Every single one of these stories features amazing mastery of the English vocabulary. There’s also a healthy balance between extreme smut verbiage like cunt, cock and cum dumpster and fancy words that members of the British royalty would use. This is classy shit.

Very Easy to Read

At first glance, GrometsPlaza looks like ass. Then, you realize that it’s actually a neatly organized library of amazing free smut that seemingly has no end. It’s painfully easy to browse these written works. You could do it one-handed. Hell, you’ll probably be browsing GrometsPlaza one-handed throughout. It’ll be worth it. Anyways, you can easily find what you’re looking for regardless of whether or not you have something in mind. All the stories are tagged by their genres as well as the people that provided the writing, so that you can string together related stories or easily locate installments of a series. It’s an all-around great system.

The owner of the site is even kind enough to let the writers sign their work at the bottom of the page with external links to their fundraisers and similar promotional materials. It’s worth noting that every single story opens up as a blank document page with no additional web decorations. I used to think this was lazy until I realized that it flat out makes the damn shit easier to read. I don’t need my screen covered in decorative crap. I just want to read my sexy stories, damn it!
